We will be looking at gathering people for alpha testing to check how sync is looking, looking for anything we've missed and to check server stability at bigger player counts soon.
This will be using the RAGE multiplayer mod from https://rage.mp
You don't need to apply to get alpha access, we will be giving it out to active members on our mta server who average 3 hours of playtime a day. (90 hours a month) prior to the date of test.
At the moment, there is no fixed date, however, we will give a few days notice when we are ready.
It's been a while since we have given an update, so thought I would give one.
We populated a project kanban with outstanding items and assigned these to the team, so we've all got something to work on.
We've also visually mapped it using Miro (thanks @JojoDb) to give us a better visual presentation of the processes and features.
We've also gained a new team member: @Yannick who will be developing but his primary focus will be on the new UI which is replacing the out-of-date looking UI that you've seen in previous pics/vids.
I know you are wanting a release date, but we don't have one, all of us are adults with work and family commitments, and doing this in our limited spare time, so we recommend you join our discord server ( https://saesrpg.mp/discord/ ), if you wish to see more up-to-date development news, pics, and videos.
Here is a preview of the in-game housing:
Just a notification for those who were already signed up on our old site.
As you can probably tell, we have changed forum software to something that has a more robust API for us to use with our game server.
I have moved all the old content over, however you will need to sign up again on this website before you can join the server.
If you are looking for the "dark mode" for the forum, just scroll to the bottom of the website, click "Theme" and select "Dark Mode".
The server still uses the forum for credential checking and is still completely synced with any credential changes.
If you have any issues or want to suggest any improvements to the website, message me on the SAES:RPG RAGE discord server.
